THE SAKERETTES TRANSGLOBAL ALLIANCE MOVES EVEN FURTHER WITH ITS"FALLEN SISTER SCHOLARSHIP INITIATIVE"
Further down on this page, there is a post that details the genesis of the "FALLEN SISTER SCHOLARSHIP INITIATIVE" back in February of 2018.
That is when, Natalie the daughter of Late Ms Clara Njoh, a CLASS OF 1988 graduate of SAKER BAPTIST COLLEGE who passed away prematurely on April 10th 2016 leaving behind two children, (Denis and Nathalie), as well as aging parents, siblings and an extended family who depended on her was identified as the first beneficiary of the initiative.
It will be recalled that her Mom, Late Clara, was a single mom who worked with CDC had seen her dream of furthering her own education limited because her family that she was extremely dedicated to, needed her support.
Since that time, (2018), S.T.A. has consistently disbursed the funds necessary to take care of Natalie's Academic needs, in addition to a Stipend to help with some associated/related necessities.
Yet another post on this same page shows that in FEBRUARY of 2020, a delegation of CAMEROON-BASED members of the SAKERETTES TRANSGLOBAL ALLIANCE (S.T.A.) visited Natalie's school to take care of her tuition and other needs, and especially to encourage her ahead of the G.C.E. Exams which were to come up later.
Well, she sat the Exam and PASSED!!!!! (GLORY HALLELUJAH!!!)
That happy fact now explains this segment of STA's NOVEMBER 15th 2020 MEETING MINUTES and the PICTURES posted above, as Natalie begins her quest for the "A" LEVELS:
- STA Reps Franka and Emily met Grandma, Natalie and the principal at the college.
- Fees for tuition and books paid for the year, and receipt will be collected later.
- 30,000cfa was paid for the 2 extra teachers to the principal and a receipt will be collected with each payment which will continue on a monthly basis, based on how the classes proceed with updates from Natalie. The principal will sign each month for receiving payment for both teachers through May of 2021.
- There was a 7,000cfa excess due to a better exchange rate. This was added to the stipend and handed over to Natalie’s grandmother.
- Franka promised to keep in touch with Natalie and communicate with the principal monthly.
- Natalie promised to work hard when Reps told her STA aunties are all rooting for her and want her to succeed.
We will definitely be keeping you posted!
