STA stands for Sakerettes Transglobal Alliance, a Texas-based, non-profit, independent sorority made up of Sakerettes from around the world. STA is committed to:
Living out Christian values and principles.
Upholding the virtues of solidarity, respect, and integrity.
Supporting the girl child in Cameroon, Africa, and globally through improved living conditions, education, and spiritual growth.
Uplifting and genuinely caring for one another as Sisters in Christ.

STA is not:
A branch of ExSSA (Ex-Saker Students Association) or any other Saker Baptist College-related organization.
A religious group.
A political group.

Yes, STA members are encouraged to belong to an ExSSA chapter—as long as that chapter’s activities do not conflict with STA’s principles.
Note: ExSSA-USA currently prohibits Sakerettes who are STA members from joining its chapters. -
No. While every STA member is a Sakerette, not every Sakerette is automatically a member of STA.
Membership is not by invitation and must follow a defined path. -
Membership in STA follows a structured process:
Recommendation by a founding or current established STA member in good standing.
A simple majority vote by STA members to initiate a 3-month trial/observation period.
A two-thirds majority vote by the Board for approval.
Completion of a formal pledging and induction ceremony.

Yes. STA is open to partnerships with any organization that aligns with its mission and can support the fulfillment of its goals.

STA adheres strictly to its guidelines and principles. Measures are in place to address and discipline any behavior that is unprofessional, unsisterly, or disruptive to group harmony.

Monthly meetings are held via teleconference.
Annual events such as face-to-face conferences, conventions, assemblies, and fundraisers are also organized.
