THE SAKERETTES TRANSGLOBAL ALLIANCE DONATES TO POTHAWIRA INTERNATIONAL- MALAWI
Whereas the COVID-19 PANDEMIC has, understandably, forced many businesses, corporations, associations and, of course, individuals to have quite a QUIET, UNPRODUCTIVE and UNEVENTFUL year, because of its very MISSION which is predominantly PHILANTHROPIC, the exact OPPOSITE has happened to the SAKERETTES TRANSGLOBAL ALLIANCE!!!
2020 has instead proven to be its BUSIEST, as she has striven to reach out - across the UNITED STATES and CAMEROON, doing her bit to help stay the spread of COVID-19.
Now, as the year winds down, she has further expanded her philanthropic reach, to MALAWI this time, via POTHAWIRA INTERNATIONAL, a HUMANITARIAN SERVICE ORGANIZATION which, on its own website, has this to say about what makes it UNIQUE:
"We are a catalyst for growth to serve the poor, distressed and underprivileged around the word. Our initial focus is Malawi. But who knows where the journey will take us?"
Furthermore, their MISSION is as follows:
We empower individuals in developing countries to achieve their full potential by providing access to quality healthcare, education and economic opportunity.
And as for their EMPHASIS, it is:
Provide comprehensive, accessible and affordable healthcare with a focus on women and children
Provide education and training to break the cycle of poverty
Provide economic sustainability programs to support communities, organizations and individuals
Just the kind of stuff that is so much in tune with what THE SAKERETTES TRANSGLOBAL ALLIANCE seeks to promote!
All of that said, what caught STA's attention even more, is the organization's MALAWIAN-BORN FOUNDER, Dr. ANNE B. ALANIZ, (DO, FACOG, FACOOG), a gynecological oncologist with Houston Methodist Hospital who is also Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology, Academic Institute.
Her PASSION, her COMMITMENT, her BRILLIANCE, her DEVOTION ... her INSPIRING STORY spanning her very humble beginings to the heights to which she has now risen, are definitely captivating, as you will find out for yourself in the video below.
Little wonder STA was pleased to donate $2,000 to help further POTHAWIRA INTERNATIONAL's Mission and Vision!
GODSPEED, POTHAWIRA INTERNATIONAL!
